Full Stack Developer

We are a boutique web design and marketing agency located in Canada, that are passionate about helping our clients grow their businesses online. We serve a wide range of clients including heavy equipment and construction, landscaping and home services, food retail, and real estate.

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
We are looking for an experienced full-stack developer to join our team. This developer is responsible for developing and maintaining WordPress and HTML websites. The ideal candidate will possess 5+ years of software development experience and have WordPress and WooCommerce experience. They should be committed to a common goal of providing high-quality websites to our clients.

This is a remote or work from the home role and would ideally suit someone wanting to work 4 hours a day, five days a week. You should be ready and willing to get great satisfaction from serving our audience and become an integral part of our creative team.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Your job will be to use your past experience to:

Manage monthly software updates of client websites (WordPress)
Building websites in Elementor page builder from provided mock-ups and applying CSS/coding as needed
Perform monthly support requests from clients (through our support ticket center)
Develop WordPress themes for new client ---------- velop and manage custom and sometimes complex WordPress-based solutions.
Create or customize plugin features to client websites (WordPress)
Ensuring high-performance and availability, and managing all technical aspects of the WordPress CMS.
Work to resolve issues related to WordPress websites and client hosting
Assist in maintaining client’s website speed performance and security.
Troubleshoot, debug and upgrade software

EXPERIENCE
You should have 5+ years of software development, WordPress and WooCommerce experience. experience building WordPress sites using templates or custom themes while following industry best practices at the same time or at least a minimum of 3+ Years experience with:

HTML5 / CSS3 / PHP
MySQL / JavaScript/jQuery / APIs
Version Control/Git
Linux web server management 
WooCommerce and Woo Framework
Page Builders like Elementor and WP Bakery
Understanding ManageWP is an asset
Experience in web hosting performance and security issues.

As a Full Stack Developer, you should be comfortable with both front-end and back-end coding languages and development frameworks. You should also be comfortable using internal communication and collaboration software like Zoom, Clickup, and Slack.

EMPLOYMENT TYPE
This is a part-time role and we're not looking for an agency.
