Full Stack Developer

The successful candidate will work with a privately-owned specialist pharmaceutical and healthcare marketing and communications agency based in Australia. He/She will be reporting to the Senior Digital Producer, and will be helping to support internal development teams to deliver customers digital projects, predominately website and web-based applications.

Job description:
-Writing clean code for the front-end and back-end of the software.
-Testing and debugging software to keep it optimized.
-Designing user interactions on the web application.
-Creating servers and databases for the back end of the software.
-Determining the structure and design of web pages.
-Ensuring user experience determines design choices.
-Developing features to enhance the user experience.
-Striking a balance between functional and aesthetic design.
-Ensuring cross-platform compatibility and optimization.
-Building reusable code for future use.
-Optimizing web pages for maximum speed and scalability.
-Utilizing a variety of markup languages to write web pages.
-Maintaining brand consistency throughout the design.
-Able to start page templates and styles from scratch rather than tweaking existing templates.
-Able to manipulate and extract art assets to HTML ready files.
-Be able to assist with testing on multiple devices, platforms and ---------- cation and Work Experience:
-Minimum of three (3) years’ experience as Full Stack Developer.
-Experienced in Graphic Designing, Video Editing,
-Experienced in creating and developing cross-browser, cross-platform web applications, Bootstrap, SASS, Webpack and WCAG compliant websites/applications (Level AA).
-Advanced knowledge of HTML, CSS and JavaScript is essential.
-Proficient with server-side languages such as Python, Ruby, Java, PHP ---------- .
-Experienced in graphic designing and video editing.
-Experienced in working with WordPress or other CMS developing front end page templates styles and widgets.
-Experience working with Adobe Suite and the ability to manipulate and extract art assets to HTML ready files.
-Experience with taking components and creating a good page/site layout on your own.
-Some knowledge around modern front-end task runner and build system (npm, clis).
-Must have an experience in doing their own troubleshooting.
-Experienced in setting up a local development.
-Bonus points for experience with animations (CSS and JS).
-Passion for usability, efficiency and performant code.
-Basic experience using git source control.
-Excellent English communication skills.
-Team player, able to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
-Can start immediately.
