Full Stack Developer

We're looking for a Mid-Level Full Stack Developer to join our team in a remote, part-time capacity (approximately 20 hours per week to start). This opportunity is ideal for developers who enjoy enhancing existing applications, are experienced with modern JavaScript technologies, and can confidently manage assigned work with minimal supervision.

Instead of creating new applications from the ground up, you'll contribute to the continued development of products already in progress. You'll work alongside the team to implement enhancements, resolve issues, and help ensure applications are stable, scalable, and ready for production.

Our engineering team leverages AI-assisted development throughout the software lifecycle, so experience using tools such as Claude Code to improve development efficiency is important.

What You'll Do:

-Contribute to the ongoing development of applications built with Node.js, React, and Next.js.
-Build, refine, and maintain features based on established requirements.
-Support efforts to improve application quality and production readiness.
-Investigate, debug, and resolve issues within existing applications.
-Complete assigned development tasks independently while collaborating with the broader team.
-Incorporate AI-assisted development tools, including Claude Code, into your daily workflow.
-Produce clean, organized, and maintainable code.
-Participate in technical discussions and code review activities when required.

Required Qualifications:

-3+ years of experience in Full-Stack Software Development.
-3+ years of experience developing applications with JavaScript/TypeScript.
-3+ years of experience building back-end applications using Node.js.
-3+ years of experience developing front-end applications using React and Next.js.
-Experience working within established production codebases using version control platforms such as Git, GitHub, GitLab, or Bitbucket.
-Experience troubleshooting, debugging, and maintaining production applications using tools such as Browser DevTools and the Node.js Debugger.
-Experience using AI-assisted development tools such as Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, Cursor, or ChatGPT.
-Strong English communication skills with the ability to clearly communicate technical decisions.

Preferred Qualifications:

-Experience enhancing and maintaining existing production applications rather than working exclusively on greenfield projects.
-Ability to consistently write clean, maintainable, and well-structured code.
-Experience participating in code reviews and technical discussions.
-Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
-Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
