Full-Stack Developer (Remote – Full-Time)
Salary: $6.00 USD per hour
Employment Type: Full-Time (40 hours/week)
Job Overview
Atlas Geotech is building the next standard in spatial intelligence for PropTech, InsurTech, and any industry that depends on geospatial data.
We are looking for a Full-Stack Developer who writes clean, reliable, maintainable code and builds applications that feel intuitive and polished.
You do not need to be a GIS expert—we will train you. What matters most is strong JavaScript/TypeScript fundamentals and the ability to build high-quality applications.
Responsibilities
Build and maintain frontend applications using React, Next.js, Vue, or similar frameworks
Develop backend services using FastAPI, Express, or NestJS
Work with PostgreSQL/PostGIS databases (we’ll train you on PostGIS)
Build and consume REST or GraphQL APIs
Write clean, well-structured, well-documented code
Use Docker and Git for development and deployment
Collaborate directly with the founders and technical leads
Participate in code reviews, testing, and continuous improvement
Help make complex geospatial data simple and user-friendly
Required Skills
You don’t need every item here, but you MUST have strong JavaScript/TypeScript fundamentals.
Frontend (any of the following):
React (preferred)
Next.js, Vue.js, Angular, Svelte, or Nuxt.js
Backend (one or more):
FastAPI (preferred)
Express or NestJS
Databases:
Strong SQL skills
PostgreSQL/PostGIS experience is a plus
DevOps & Tools:
Docker (basic to intermediate)
Git (branches, pull requests, code review)
API design and integration (REST or GraphQL)
Nice-to-Have (but not required):
Leaflet, OpenLayers, Cesium, or Mapbox
Django experience (GeoNode uses Django)

GeoNode + GeoServer
PostgreSQL/PostGIS
Open OGC standards
Work Hours
Full-time: 40 hours/week
Flexible schedule
Must be able to attend 1–2 short sync meetings per week (PH evening / US morning)
Travel Requirement
?? Must be able to travel to Manila for in-person tea
Travel costs will be coordinated and covered by the company.
