JOB OVERVIEW

ABOUT THE ROLE
We’re looking for a sharp, execution-focused Lead Full Stack & AI Developer to take ownership of multiple projects that are already in advanced stages of development. This isn’t a start-from-scratch role—most of our platforms are 70–90% built. We need someone who can jump in, assess where things stand, and drive them across the finish line.
You’ll lead development across our portfolio of tech products, working directly with the CEO. The right person is someone who thrives in fast-moving environments, can context-switch between projects, and brings both technical depth and the leadership instincts to keep things on track without heavy oversight.

WHAT YOU’LL BE WORKING ON
You’ll have direct ownership across these active projects:
FutureThink Edge (Adaptive Learning Platform)
• AI-powered edtech platform with adaptive learning algorithms, knowledge tracing, and student assessment tools
• Integrating NLP, recommendation engines, and clinical-grade mental health detection features
• Compliance-sensitive environment (FERPA, HIPAA, COPPA, SOC 2)
• Stack: React/Next.js frontend, Node.js/Python backend, PostgreSQL, LLM integrations (Claude, OpenAI)
World of IT (Cloud Services Company)
• Production-ready landing page and client-facing platform for cloud migration and managed cloud services
• Building out service delivery infrastructure, client dashboards, and onboarding flows
• Stack: Modern web stack, cloud architecture (AWS/Azure/GCP)
Additional Platform Work
• GoHighLevel CRM integrations and automation workflows for nonprofit operations
• Content management and media production tooling for Content Capital
• General full-stack support across the organization’s digital ecosystem

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Technical Leadership
• Own the technical roadmap and sprint execution across multiple concurrent projects
• Make architectural decisions and set code quality standards for the team
• Conduct code reviews, establish CI/CD pipelines, and maintain deployment workflows
• Document systems thoroughly so the team can scale without bottlenecks
Full Stack Engineering
• Build and maintain scalable APIs and microservices (Node.js, Python, or similar)
• Develop responsive, intuitive UIs (React.js, Next.js, or Vue.js)
• Work with relational and NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, MongoDB)
• Implement DevOps best practices across AWS, Azure, or GCP environments
AI & Machine Learning
• Integrate and fine-tune LLMs for educational use cases (OpenAI, Claude, open-source models)
• Build NLP features, recommendation engines, and learning analytics
• Develop AI models for student assessments, learning adaptation, and behavioral insights
• Ensure AI systems meet regulatory compliance standards

REQUIREMENTS
Must-Have
• 5+ years of professional full-stack development experience
• Strong proficiency in React.js or Next.js (frontend) and Node.js or Python (backend)
• Hands-on experience with PostgreSQL and at least one NoSQL database
• Working knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) including deployment and scaling
• Experience integrating APIs and working with third-party services
• Comfortable working autonomously with minimal supervision across multiple projects
• Strong English communication skills (written and verbal)
Strong Plus
• Experience with AI/ML model integration, LLM APIs, or NLP pipelines
• Familiarity with LangChain, CrewAI, or similar AI orchestration frameworks
• Background in edtech, SaaS, or compliance-heavy industries (FERPA, HIPAA)
• Experience leading small development teams or mentoring junior developers
• Knowledge of GoHighLevel, CRM automation, or marketing tech stacks
• CI/CD pipeline setup and DevOps automation experience
