Full-Charge Accountant (AR/AP + Invoicing + Collections)

Match Freight Lines is looking for a reliable Full-Charge Accountant to handle our full cycle of Accounts Receivable (AR) and Accounts Payable (AP). This role does not involve general bookkeeping but will include:

- Receiving and applying payments from customers in our TMS
- Processing and paying carrier invoices
- Conducting collections via email (minimal calls, just basic AR communication)
- Handling occasional customer payment inquiries by phone, about once a week
- Ensuring all AR and AP tasks are completed accurately and on time

Compensation & Hours:
- $5.50 per hour
- 35 hours per week, Mon to Fri
- 5 AM - 12 PM Los Angeles Time

Experience:
- Must have previous experience working graveyard
- Must have Quickbooks experience (to direct and help the bookkeeper)
- Must have C1 level English

Key Responsibilities:
Accounts Receivable (AR):
- Receive and apply customer payments in the TMS
- Follow up on overdue invoices by email (no cold calling)
- Handle occasional customer calls about payments (about once a week)

Accounts Payable (AP):
- Receive and verify carrier invoices
- Process and schedule payments to carriers on time
- Ensure all AP entries are accurate

Reporting and Accuracy:
- Work with the CPA for month-end close and financial reports
- Review AR/AP data for accuracy without doing general bookkeeping
