We're a company here in ______ that focuses on Web Design & Development, due to long term demand issues regarding with the frontend developers, we decided to outsource some of our projects out. We still have our in-house developers and designers, but to lessen our work load here, we would like to acquire more of talent like you to work with.
Your main job is to do front-end development and maybe backend development if needed.
For front-end development, we use following frameworks depends on different projects, it is not required for you to know ReactJS and VueJS, but you must be familiar with the following:
PRE-REQ: MAC users preferable
[Client Projects] (Which you will be mostly work on)
A. Template Engines - Pug (Jade), Twig
B. Task Automates - Gulp
C. CSS Preprocessors - SASS + POSTCSS
D. Javascript - ES5/6/7, jQuery
E. Environment - NodeJS/LINUX
[Inhouse Projects] (Depends on your abilities)
A. Framework - ReactJS, VueJS (Any)
B. PHP - Laravel, October
[Basic] (You must really know these)
A. Git Deployment
B. Basic Linux command (cp, rm, cd, ls, grep)
Your working time is 8 hours but not limited to this, basically I will do the Project Management and as long as you finish your job within the certain time I assigned, for example maybe one to two pages of front-end development.
Work time: 8 hours per day / 5 days a week / 4 weeks a month
I totally understand I cannot prevent you from what you will be doing the side project during these hours, if you have other projects working at the same time with us, you're welcome to do so as long as you showed your proficiency and efficiency, you may have different timezone with us, but we can set a time, where during those 8 hours I can access and communicate with you any time during that range, you must be also open to work on something during the agreed time.
Scenario: We agreed on from 9am to 6pm. So during these time, you must check in and do standup meeting with us on Slack, then do your assigned task on Jira. If you have other side projects, it is totally fine to do so. Our other frontend developer who is a Nepali also have a full time day job in Kathmandu, but during these time, he still can work on whatever i assigned on him, sometimes, we talk too.
