Freelance Rendering Artist & Draftsperson (Outdoor Living)
We are seeking a detail-oriented Rendering Artist / Draftsperson to join our team on a per-project basis. In this role, you will be responsible for transforming conceptual sketches and measurements into high-quality technical drawings and photorealistic visualizations for custom outdoor structures, specifically high-end pergolas and shade systems.

Core Responsibilities
Technical Drafting: Create precise 2D shop drawings, floor plans, and elevations using AutoCAD or similar software.

3D Modeling & Visualization: Develop photorealistic 3D renderings that showcase textures (aluminum, wood, fabric), lighting, and integration with existing architectural environments.

Design Collaboration: Interpret site measurements and client briefs to ensure structures are both aesthetically pleasing and structurally feasible.

Revisions: Incorporate feedback from the design team and clients to refine models and drawings until final approval.

Required Skills & Qualifications
Software Proficiency: Expert-level skills in AutoCAD (for drafting) and 3ds Max, SketchUp, or Rhino (for modeling).

Rendering Engines: Experience with Lumion, V-Ray, or Enscape to produce high-end visuals.

Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with outdoor construction materials, motorized shade systems, and louvered roof mechanics is a significant plus.

Communication: Ability to work remotely and meet strict project deadlines.

Portfolio: A strong portfolio demonstrating previous work in architectural visualization or outdoor living spaces.

Project Workflow & Compensation
Basis: This is a per-project/contract position.

Workflow: You will be provided with site photos, dimensions, and product specifications.

Deliverables: Typically includes (1) Set of 2D technical drawings and (2) 3-4 High-resolution 3D renders.

Rate: Negotiable per project based on complexity and urgency.
