JOB OVERVIEW

Framer Web Designer & Visual Designer

(Framer · Figma · Web + Social Assets)

Contract: 60 Days Initial · Month-to-Month Thereafter

I’m looking for a systems-minded visual designer who can own the look and feel of modern, high-polish digital brands—primarily through Framer for web and Figma for custom assets and social graphics, with the ability to handle light web development, content updates, and basic ecommerce management.

This role is not about templates or generic sites. It’s about taste, restraint, hierarchy, and clarity. The visual bar is high. The inspiration is Apple-level simplicity: clean layouts, strong typography, intentional spacing, and designs that feel obvious only after you’ve seen them.

?

What You’ll Be Responsible For

Web Design (Framer)
• Design and build responsive websites and landing pages in Framer
• Translate brand direction into clean, conversion-aware layouts
• Maintain strong visual hierarchy, spacing, and typographic systems
• Ensure designs feel fast, minimal, and intentional—not over-designed
• Iterate quickly based on feedback and performance needs

Visual & Asset Design (Figma)
• Design custom graphics and assets in Figma for:
• Social media posts
• Thumbnails
• UI elements
• Supporting brand visuals
• Create reusable components and visual systems
• Ensure consistency between web and social visuals

Light Web Development & Site Management
• Manage hosting, domains, and basic site configuration (primarily within Framer)
• Handle routine website updates, including:
• Page edits
• Layout adjustments
• Copy and content swaps
• Publish and format blog posts and content pages
• Maintain site performance, stability, and structure

SEO & Content Foundations
• Implement and maintain basic SEO best practices, including:
• Page hierarchy and structure
• Meta titles and descriptions
• Clean URLs
• Image optimization
• Ensure new pages, blog posts, and product pages are SEO-friendly

Ecommerce Product & Catalog Management
• Manage ecommerce product listings and catalogs, including:
• Product page creation and updates
• Images, descriptions, and layout consistency
• Product organization and categorization
• Ensure product pages align visually with the overall brand system
• Make updates cleanly without breaking layout or UX

Design Systems & Consistency
• Establish and maintain:
• Typography scales
• Color systems
• Layout rules
• Component patterns
• Keep everything cohesive across web, content, and ecommerce
• Design with scalability in mind—not one-off visuals

?

Visual Direction & Taste

The core visual inspiration:
• Apple-inspired design principles
• Minimal
• Clean
• Purposeful
• High-clarity layouts
• Strong typography and generous whitespace
• Calm, confident visuals that don’t try to impress—but do

If your work leans heavily on visual noise, trends, or over-styling, this likely isn’t a fit.

?

What Success Looks Like
• Websites and product pages feel premium, modern, and effortless
• Design systems scale cleanly as content and products are added
• Blog posts, product updates, and new pages publish quickly and cleanly
• Web, ecommerce, and social visuals feel like one unified brand
• The site remains fast, organized, and easy to evolve

?

Required Skills & Experience
• Strong experience designing and building sites in Framer
• High-level proficiency in Figma
• Solid understanding of:
• Typography
• Spacing
• Layout
• Visual hierarchy
• Comfort handling light web dev and site maintenance
• Familiarity with basic SEO best practices
• Experience managing ecommerce products and catalogs
• Ability to design for clarity, not decoration

?

Personal Qualities We’re Looking For
• Strong visual instincts and confidence in design decisions
• Detail-oriented without being slow
• Comfortable owning both design and light implementation
• Clear communicator (written and spoken English)
• Reliable, responsive, and respectful of timelines

?

Contract Structure
• Initial term: 60 days
• Goal: Establish and maintain a high-quality visual, web, and ecommerce foundation
• Continuation: Month-to-month after the initial term if the partnership is working
• Ongoing work likely if quality, speed, and ownership are strong

?

How to Apply

Please send:
• A brief introduction about your background
• A link to your portfolio (required)
• Examples of:
• Framer websites you’ve designed/built
• Figma work for web or social assets

• A short note on your experience with:

If you care deeply about taste, clarity, and building systems that hold up as sites, content, and products scale—and you can keep everything clean while it grows—I want to see your work.
