Founding Engineer

???? Founding Engineer (Medical Tech)
Location: Remote

We’re a small, scrappy, and ambitious startup building from scratch—and we’re looking for a founding engineer to help shape everything from our tech stack to our product.

You’ll be a key, founding member of the team and will work directly with the founders to bring our product to life. There’s no bureaucracy here. Just speed, ownership, and the opportunity to build something meaningful in a space that matters. This is a intensity position.

What you’ll do:
• Own the technical direction and architecture decisions end-to-end
• Build and ship our v1 product from zero
• Work directly with users to iterate fast and validate ideas
• Implement AI where it makes sense to enhance product value
• Work alongside the founding team to bring idea to life and execution

You might be a fit if you:
• Have shipped full-stack products end-to-end (ideally from scratch)
• Are comfortable moving fast and breaking things, but know when to slow down
• Have experience (or deep curiosity) about working with AI/LLMs
• Can balance product intuition with technical tradeoffs
• Want to work like a founder, not just a developer

Bonus if you’ve:
• Worked in early-stage startups
• Built with LLM APIs (OpenAI, Anthropic, etc.)
• Deployed scrappy MVPs that got real usage
• Enjoyed wearing a lot of hats and figuring things out on the fly
Also if you have some mobile app development experience
