WE’RE HIRING | Fire Sprinkler Engineer / Drafter / Designer

Tristate Fire Sprinklers is looking for a motivated Fire Sprinkler Engineer / Drafter / Designer to support our commercial and residential projects throughout New York City.

This is a great opportunity for someone with fire sprinkler design experience who is detail-oriented, organized, and comfortable working with construction plans.

Position Details:

Remote position

Monday–Friday | EST schedule

Commercial & residential projects

What You’ll Do:

• Assist with hydraulic calculations and system sizing

• Coordinate layouts with project managers, engineers, and contractors

• Prepare shop drawings and sprinkler layouts

• Review architectural, MEP, structural, and ceiling plans

• Prepare as-builts, revisions, installation details, and project documentation

• Assist with material takeoffs when needed

What We’re Looking For:

• 2+ years of fire sprinkler design experience

• Experience with AutoCAD, AutoSprink, HydraCAD, or similar software

• Ability to read and understand construction drawings

• Strong attention to detail

• Good communication skills

• Bluebeam, Excel, and MEP coordination experience is a plus
