We are seeking experienced and driven Freight Dispatchers with a strong background in both sales and operations. This role is ideal for professionals who currently manage active MC authorities or have the proven ability to onboard new carriers and build a dispatch portfolio from the ground up.
The ideal candidate brings established industry relationships, strong negotiation skills, and the ability to generate and manage consistent freight opportunities while maintaining high service standards.
Key Responsibilities
Manage and dispatch freight for active MC authorities.
Prospect, onboard, and develop relationships with new carrier partners.
Negotiate competitive rates with brokers and direct shippers.
Coordinate loads from pickup to delivery while ensuring compliance and communication.
Build and maintain a consistent book of business.
Provide exceptional service and proactive communication to carriers and customers.
Monitor market trends and identify profitable freight opportunities.
Qualifications
Proven experience in freight dispatching and transportation sales.
Existing MC relationships preferred.
Strong negotiation and communication skills.
Ability to independently generate and close new business.
Knowledge of load boards, carrier compliance, and freight documentation.
Self-motivated with strong organizational and time-management skills.
