Experienced Shopify & Social Media Virtual Assistant (Gemstone & Opal Business)

About the Position

We are seeking a highly skilled, detail-oriented, and proactive Virtual Assistant to support our growing online gemstone and jewelry business specializing in Ethiopian opals and gemstones.

The ideal candidate must have at least 2 years of experience working with international companies, managing online stores, social media marketing, and online sales. Previous experience in the gemstone, jewelry, or opal industry is strongly preferred.

Requirements
Minimum 2 years of experience working with a foreign or international company.
Proven experience managing Shopify stores and e-commerce operations.
Strong experience with social media marketing and sales, including Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and other platforms.
Experience working with gemstones, jewelry, or opals is highly preferred.
Excellent English communication skills.
Highly organized, efficient, and able to work independently.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to handle challenges effectively.
Sharp attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Ability to follow instructions accurately and meet deadlines consistently.
Responsibilities
Create and manage Shopify product listings.
Upload, organize, and optimize product images and videos.
Write professional product descriptions and SEO-friendly content.
Manage and grow social media accounts.
Create engaging content that attracts followers and customers.
Assist with online sales and customer engagement.
Organize website content, categories, and collections.
Provide detailed daily and weekly progress reports.
Identify and solve problems proactively.
Quality Standards and Performance Expectations

We maintain high professional standards and expect all team members to take full responsibility for the quality of their work.

After the training period has ended, all submitted work must meet the required quality standards. Every task must be thoroughly reviewed and corrected before submission.

If a task is submitted with mistakes and requires more than 5 minutes of correction time, the time spent producing that work will not be considered payable.
