We run a used couch business in the United States called The Found Sofa.
We get constant leads for free and cheap couches through our software, and we need a detail-obsessed VA whose main job is very simple:
Monitor a live feed
See a good couch pop up.
Message the seller in under 15 seconds.
Schedule a pickup time
Log everything correctly.
If you can stare at a feed and react instantly without getting bored, keep reading. VA can be based anywhere globally but must be able to work during the provided shifts below.
The job in simple terms
You will:
• Watch our couch lead feed during your shift
• Message sellers fast using our scripts
• Log each lead in Google Sheets in real time
• Help coordinate pickups once we d
• After you prove yourself, help create
This is not a “work whenever you feel like it” role.
This is a seat-on-chair, eyes-on-screen job during specific hours.
Schedule and hours
We are building coverage for about 60 hours per week total, split across 2 VAs.
You should be able to commit to about 30 hours per week, with most of your shifts in these windows (US Eastern time):
• Weekdays: roughly 3 pm – 9 pm
• Weekends: roughly 9 am – 9 pm
Exact schedule will be finalized with you, but the core rule is:
When you are on shift, you are glued to the feed. If a lead pops and you answer 4 minutes later, you lose most deals.
Pay
• Base pay: $4 USD per hour, paid bi weekly in USD
What success looks like
In your first 60–90 days, a strong VA will:
• Respond to qualifying couch leads in under 15 seconds on average
• Help us acquire at least 8 good couches per week
• Once trained on selling, help us sell at least 5 couches per week through our listings
• Keep our tracking sheet fully updated, in real time, without missing leads
Requirements
Must have:
• Very good written and spoken English
• Strong and stable internet
• Your own laptop or desktop (no phones)
• Ability to follow detailed SOPs and stick to a routine
• No other job during your assigned shifts (you can’t do this and another job at the same time)
• Comfortable using:
• Google Sheets
• Basic time tracking (like Toggl / Clockify)
• Slack or similar chat tools
Nice to have:
• Experience as a VA or in customer service / chat roles
