Executive Assistant / Operations Right Hand (Not a Yes-Person)
Position: Executive Assistant / Operations Support
Location: Remote (Philippines)
Working Hours: Overlap with US time zones
Company: Growing US-based Roadshow company
?? Please read carefully before applying
This is not a traditional assistant role.
We are not looking for someone who waits for instructions or just says “yes”.
We are looking for someone smart, proactive, and independent — someone who thinks, organizes, and solves.
If you like structure, responsibility, and thinking ahead — keep reading.
If you need micromanagement or clear step-by-step instructions for everything — this role is not for you.
What this role really is
You will be the right hand to the founder, helping turn ideas into execution.
This includes:
Organizing tasks, priorities, and timelines
Turning messy ideas into clear action steps
Following up with people and making sure things get done
Managing documents, trackers, and systems
Spotting problems before they become problems
Suggesting better ways to do things (this is important)
You are expected to think, not just execute.
What this role is NOT
Not a data-entry job
Not a “wait for instructions” role
Not a yes-person position
If you are afraid to ask questions or challenge ideas respectfully — this will not work.
Who we are looking for
You are a strong fit if you:
Are highly organized and detail-oriented
Can work independently without constant supervision
Think logically and practically
Are comfortable saying: “There’s a better way to do this”
Can handle multiple tasks and changing priorities
Communicate clearly in written English
Are calm under pressure and enjoy responsibility
Experience as an Executive Assistant, Operations Assistant, or Project Coordinator is a strong advantage.
Working style
Clear goals, not micromanagement
High trust, high responsibility
You will be judged by results, not hours
Long-term role for the right person
How to apply (important)
To apply, do not send a generic application.
Please answer the following questions:
Describe a situation where you improved a process or system without being asked.
How do you handle unclear instructions or incomplete information?
Why are you not a yes-person?
Short, thoughtful answers only.
Final note
If you are smart, proactive, and enjoy being the person who brings order to chaos —
this role can grow into a very senior position
