Executive Assistant (Operations + Brand + Newsletter Support)

We're doing cool stuff in local media. Newsletters, software, marketing, and AI tools. We're a startup that's moving fast and getting things done.

If you want to get in early with a company that's actually going places, learn a lot, and do many different things, this is your chance.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING

This is a full-spectrum executive assistant role. You'll be supporting the founder directly and helping run operations across multiple projects:

• Executive support: Manage schedules, handle communications, keep things organized, and take tasks off the founder's plate
• Brand management: Post content for TJ's personal brand on LinkedIn and other platforms
• Newsletter operations: Write and publish local newsletters using our AI-assisted workflow (we'll train you)
• General operations: Support the team with research, coordination, light project management, and wherever you can add value
• Tools and systems: Use ChatGPT/Gemini and other platforms daily to move faster and work smarter

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

• Fast executor. You move quickly and get things done without sacrificing quality.
• Quick learner. You pick things up fast and don't need constant hand-holding.
• High context awareness. You "get it" quickly and understand what needs to happen without everything being spelled out.
• Strong communicator. Excellent English writing skills. Clear, professional, and natural.
• You check your work before submitting.
• You figure things out and don't wait around to be told what to do.
• Comfortable with AI tools and willing to learn new systems.

THIS ROLE IS NOT FOR YOU IF…

• You're slow or slow to learn things.
• You need everything explained repeatedly.
• You're inconsistent or need constant supervision.
• You can't handle doing many different things and switching contexts quickly.
• You rely on AI to think for you instead of helping you think faster.

• Move fast
• Accomplish things
• Grow quickly in the role
• Learn things rapidly
