JOB OVERVIEW

We're looking for a Creative Assistant to join our team ( ---------- /thewarkitchen) and work on everything from magazine layout to image editing to day-to-day content and administrative support. This is a jack-of-all-trades role: you'll touch editorial, design, content, and we want someone who can move between tasks with care and bring ideas of their own to the table. This role is open to both part-time and full-time candidates, depending on fit and availability.

What you'll do:
- Magazine layout, article editing, and getting multi-page files print-ready
- Image editing: upscaling, retouching, background removal, and general polishing
- Creating custom design assets, patterns, and vector work
- Editorial support: helping edit and refine articles, proofing layouts, flagging inconsistencies
- Content assistance across formats, from social to print
- File management: organizing digital assets and keeping our systems tidy
- General creative and administrative support: coming up with ideas, refining work in progress, handling organizational tasks, and collaborating closely with our other creative assistant

Skills required:
- InDesign (magazine layout, multi-page documents, print-ready files)
- Photoshop (retouching, upscaling, background removal, asset fixes)
- Illustrator (custom assets, pattern creation, vector cleanup)

What we're looking for:
- A current college student, recent graduate, or early-career creative in graphic design, visual arts, communication, or a related field
- Great taste and a strong eye for design
- Incredibly organized, meticulous, and self-directed
- A generalist who enjoys wearing multiple hats and learning as they go
- Available Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm Philippine Standard Time (GMT+8)

Compensation:
Starting allowance of US $700 per month, paid at the end of each month. Negotiable for candidates with significant experience.

To apply, start your message with the word "apple" and include your resume, links to any relevant portfolio, a project you've worked on that you're proud of, your strongest skills, and your weakest skills (or areas where you fall short of our core skills list). Thank you!
