Editor/Production Assistant

Online Production company needs Editor to edit footage for daily vlogs and short segments for online content. Candidate will have an understanding of narrative editing and storytelling as well as be able to write short descriptions and online copy to accompany pictures.
Must have access to internet connection and be able to download 2 to 10 gigs of data per day from cloud.
(We are willing to pay for upgraded internet service in order to accommodate worker)
Candidate will understand how to use final cut or similar editing software. Mac OS knowledge preferred.
Candidate will have good working knowledge of photoshop/illustrator or similar image editing software in order to create thumbnails for videos.
Candidate will have ability to edit story to music
Candidate will be able to edit the content so it fits in with already existing brand
Candidate will be able to add tags, titles and descriptions that will improve seo
candidate will be self starter and able to work without too much direction.
understanding of motion graphics and basic special effects a plus
understanding of social media marketing across multiple platforms a plus.
understanding of basic SEO and online advertising a plus
