RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Develop new custom features for our ecommerce sales funnels on Shopify and Checkout Champ. You will enjoy inventing fascinating solutions to achieve complicated demands, even if they seem 'impossible' at first sight. Your creativity and problem-solving skills will be put to the test daily, and you'll thrive on the challenge.

- Code new pages in HTML or Shopify Liquid given a design frame. Your expertise in mobile-first design, page load speed optimization, and conversion rate maximization will shine as you craft pixel-perfect, high-performing pages.

- Proactively identify and resolve bugs, performance issues, and technical bottlenecks on our funnels. Your keen eye for detail and passion for smooth user experiences will drive you to conduct regular audits, ensuring our systems run flawlessly.

- Run A/B tests on web pages. Extract and analyze data from multiple sources, report them to management in an organized fashion to make data-driven decisions.

- Become an integration wizard by connecting various software and platforms related to our ecommerce business. From payment processors to email and SMS systems, and Zapier automations, you love figuring out how to connect different technologies to power our operations.

REQUIREMENTS:

- 6+ years of professional experience in web development, with a focus on ecommerce platforms
- Experienced with marketing tools (e.g. Klaviyo), tracking (Facebook Pixel, Google Ads), and custom event tracking using JavaScript
- Expert-level proficiency in: HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript (including modern frameworks like React or Vue.js)
- RESTful APIs and web services integration
- Version control systems (e.g., Git)
- Good understanding of JS video players
- Experience with performance optimization, security best practices, and scalable architecture
- Experience with server-side optimization and CDN implementation
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to think creatively to overcome technical challenges
- Excellent communication skills, able to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously

SALARY & SCHEDULE:

We offer a flexible full-time position with the following terms:
- Standard availability: Monday to Friday, 8 hours per day
- Base pay: $15 per hour, tracked using TimeDoctor
- Potential monthly earnings: $2,600 to $3,600, depending on hours worked
- Performance bonuses: Up to $1000 for proactive solutions that significantly impact the company's bottom line. Example: Developing a method to recover declined transactions, resulting in increased revenue
