JOB OVERVIEW

We are hiring a reliable Virtual Assistant to support our U.S. e-commerce business in the event equipment and stage effects industry.

This is not only a customer service role. The person we hire will also help with daily store operations, order follow-up, tracking updates, customer communication, and simple admin tasks.

Main Responsibilities:

Reply to customer emails, messages, and phone calls in clear English
Follow up with customers about orders, shipping, delivery, returns, and product questions
Check order details and help confirm whether customers purchased the correct items
Upload tracking numbers and update order information
Communicate with our internal team about customer issues and shipment status
Help with WooCommerce / WordPress and eBay order-related tasks
Assist with simple product page checks and store admin tasks when needed
Help convert customer questions into orders by answering clearly and professionally
During slower call periods, help with other simple VA tasks, such as basic online posting or uploading prepared materials
Stay organized and handle multiple small tasks during the shift

Requirements:

Fluent English speaking and writing skills
Comfortable answering phone calls from U.S. customers
Good communication skills and a professional attitude
Responsible, careful, and able to work independently
Good attention to detail
Able to follow instructions and ask questions when something is unclear
E-commerce customer service experience is preferred
Experience with WooCommerce, WordPress, or eBay is a plus
Must be available for night shift: 9:00 PM – 5:00 AM

Important Notes:

This is a full-time VA role. During an 8-hour shift, there may not always be phone calls. When there are fewer calls, we expect the assistant to help with other business-related tasks, including customer follow-up, order checking, tracking updates, and simple admin work.

The right person should not only wait for messages or calls, but should also be able to follow up carefully, solve small problems, understand customer needs, and help improve the order process.
