JOB OVERVIEW

We’re looking for a killer Direct Response Video Editor who also knows how to build and optimize Shopify stores for conversion.

This is not a basic editing job. We want someone who understands performance, sales psychology, and e-commerce funnels.

Video Editing (Primary Role):
• Edit direct response ads for TikTok, Meta, Reels, Shorts
• Turn raw footage into scroll-stopping, high-CTR ads
• Add:
• Dynamic captions
• Hooks in first 1–3 seconds
• Fast pacing, pattern interrupts
• Music, sound effects, zooms, cuts
• Test different hooks, angles, and formats
• Understand UGC-style ads vs branded ads

Store Building / CRO (Secondary Role):
• Build Shopify stores from scratch or improve existing ones
• Product page optimization (layout, copy flow, trust elements)
• Implement upsells, bundles, and clean checkout experience
• Ensure stores are fast, mobile-optimized, and conversion-focused

? Requirements
• Proven experience with direct response video ads
• Strong editing skills (CapCut, Premiere Pro, After Effects, etc.)
• Understands what sells, not just what looks good
• Shopify experience (themes, product pages, basic apps)
• Knows basic CRO principles (social proof, urgency, clarity)
• Fast turnaround and attention to detail
• Reliable internet and communication

• Have worked with TikTok ads or Meta ads
• Know e-commerce metrics (CTR, CVR, AOV)
• Can suggest creative angles, not just execute
• Have experience scaling winning creatives
• Understand Western markets (US / Canada)
