JOB OVERVIEW

????Role Overview

We’re seeking a talented A-Player Direct Response Video Editor who delivers fast-paced, scroll-stopping ads, follows proven DR principles and platform compliance and thrives in a fast-moving, performance driven environment with direct feedback.

You’ll start with a test period during which you’ll work on several test projects, and once you’ve proven your skills, transition into a steady flow of weekly projects or full-time role.

???? What You'll Do

* Create long form (3-10 minutes) and short form (1-3 minutes) video ads using AI-creators, real spokespersons, B-roll and viral / real online footage
* Follow our detailed guidelines for transitions, B-roll footage, special effects etc.
* Find and craft scroll-stopping, pattern-interrupt scroll stoppers to boots CTRs (weird images, bold visuals, etc.)
* Iterate quickly on hooks / scroll stoppers for winning video ads
* Use AI software to create videos or part of videos
* Find and test new AI tools for video production
* Create multilingual versions (FR, DE, NL, EN, etc.)
* Do competitor research to find top performing Direct Response video ads and stay on top of current trends
* Own your work end-to-end and suggest creative improvements
* Hit agreed weekly output and deadlines reliably
* Nice to have: Motion-graphics skills for simple animated overlays and animations

* Collaborative Yet Autonomous: You thrive in async workflows—clear, timely communication via text or Loom - while owning your deliverables end-to-end.
* Growth Mindset: You welcome the test phase as a proving ground, embrace feedback wholeheartedly, and turn critiques into higher-impact edits.
* You must be available close to full-time after the testing phase. We want someone who can focus and commit to our work.

???? How we measure success

We’ll grade your work on two criteria:
1. Craftsmanship: technical editing, storytelling, pacing, use of brand assets, polish, following instructions
2. Performance: videos that meet or exceed ad KPIs.


? What We Offer

* Phase 1 - Paid Test Projects: You’ll start with approx 10 finished video min / week over 2 weeks to demonstrate your skills. Paid at $20 per finished minute.
* Phase 2 - Ongoing Work: Ongoing weekly project or retainer opportunity. This would be full time commitment or close to it. Performance bonuses for ads that exceed targets.
* Creative Freedom: We value fresh ideas—your hooks and pacing suggestions are encouraged.
