Digital Marketer (VA/Content Writer/Webmaster/SEO)

We are looking for a digital marketer to join our team! We are an internet marketing startup that will specialize in the creation and maintenance of websites focused on physical products sold through sites such as Amazon.com. Our U.S. based team will rely heavily on their work in order to meet deadlines and create successful online businesses. Candidates will need to be disciplined, focused, and independently motivated in order to be successful.

This job is an entry level position that will focus on content research, content creation, and page layout. If you are successful, there will be the opportunity to move into a project manager, webmaster, or SEO specialized role.

The following skills are a requirement for the job:

Native English writing ability
Strong organizational skills in order to meet deadlines and balance multiple tasks
Strong communication skills that will keep the U.S. team updated on progress
Ability to take a specific keyword or topic and outline web pages ranging from 100s to 1000s of words
Ability to research physical products and product reviews online and use the information to create quality, unique content
Experience creating web pages using self-researched content and free-to-use images from the web
Ability to use WordPress to create and post articles

Ideal candidates will have:
Experience with SEO tools (SEMRush, Moz Pro, MajesticSEO, Long Tail Pro).
Experience with onpage optimizations and how they relate to SEO
Experience with internal linking strategies including site siloing
Experience with logo and image design
Experience with white hat methods of acquiring external backlinks
Experience administering WordPress installation and configuration

1:1 Skype text chat to go over the specifics of the interview process and answer any initial questions (15min)
Paid practical interview that focuses on researching, writing, and posting an article about a specific topic (we will provide topic) to WordPress. (4 hours)
Trial period that will include researching, writing, and posting 10-20 articles on one of our website businesses. (1 week / 40hrs)
If you are successful after these steps, a full time position will be made available and the salary negotiated based on your proficiency.
