About the Role

As our go-to developer, you’ll lead the technical build and customisation of our Shopify Plus
Stores that are built with React. This role would suit a developer looking to take ownership and contribute to a long-term vision with a fast-paced, supportive team based across Australia and the Philippines.

Your focus will be on:
Maintaining our Shopify stores (Shopify Plus) for mobile and desktop
Keeping repos clean, refactoring code, and optimising for site speed
Building out new features for/ with different stakeholders, and deploying these for testing and to production
Supporting UX and CRO initiatives (A/B testing, clickmaps, etc.)
Troubleshooting and resolving bugs quickly

???? What We’re Looking For
3+ years of professional experience building responsive apps/ websites with React
Fluent in Liquid, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
Experience with Shopify/Shopify Plus
Demonstrable experience in analysing and improving site speed, including reviewing third-party apps and libraries
Ability to work with different stakeholders to build out new features and proactively propose solutions to issues, and provide feedback as required
Strong experience with REST/GraphQL APIs
Backend end experience or strong awareness - this role is front-end focused; however, there may be the opportunity for backend development
Keen attention to detail and understanding of user best practices
Ability to work independently, manage deadlines, and solve problems

? Nice to Have
CRO tool experience, such as VWO or Hotjar
Any experience or interest in data analysis and modelling, combining data sources across different platforms
GA4 and tracking customisation experience
Experience setting up development processes/ pipelines
