About the Role
Tracemade is a boutique design consultancy based in Kuala Lumpur. We conduct official Design Audit Reviews on behalf a global fast food chain for the Asia region. We are looking for a detail-oriented specialist to support two connected streams of work:
Stream 1 — Project Tracking & Admin (approx. 5 hrs/week)
Stream 2 — Design Audit Production (approx. 15 hrs/week)

Stream 1 — Project Tracking & Admin
Light administrative support: monitoring project communications, logging submissions into our tracking system, and keeping project files organised in Google Drive. Full briefing on tools and processes will be provided upon joining.
Tools used: Microsoft Teams, Google Sheets, Google Drive

Stream 2 — Design Audit Production
This is the core of the role. You will produce structured Design Audit Review documents for store remodel and new build submissions from franchisees across the region.

What you'll do:
Read and interpret franchisee drawing submissions — floor plans, elevations, furniture layouts, ceiling plans, wall finish schedules, and signage drawings. Cross-reference each drawing against the design standards library, which we supply in full.

Draft audit comments in our standardised format, distinguishing between mandatory compliance items and recommendations

Complete each review section in a structured sequence covering BOH operations, FOH layout, exterior elevations, and interior elevations.

Full briefing on our review format, comment template, and standards library will be provided. You will not be making final approval decisions — your document will be checked by lead consultant and you will need to make the amendments required.

Tools used: Adobe Acrobat or equivalent PDF viewer, Google Drive, Microsoft PowerPoint/Slides

What We're Looking For
Essential:
Min 2 years exp in related field
Diploma or degree in Interior Design or Architecture.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawing sets (plans, elevations, sections, schedules)
Strong English reading and writing skills — audit comments must be precise and professional
High attention to detail
Comfortable following a detailed written brief independently
Reliable internet connection and personal computer
Available within KL / Singapore business hours.

Preferred:
Experience in F&B, retail, or hospitality design.
Prior exposure to branded design standards (QSR, hotel, or retail fitout environments)
