Why Tiny Mile exists

We’re solving a real problem.

The transportation sector is among the highest polluters, accounting for 29% of greenhouse gas emissions. Urban last-mile delivery emissions alone are set to increase by 30% by 2030 due to the rise in e-commerce.

Our robots use as much electricity as a lightbulb, are fully electric, and free up congested road space by "right-sizing" vehicles for local small parcel delivery. Imagine getting medication from your local pharmacy delivered in -20 Celsius weather for less than it costs to fill the prescription.

What you’ll be doing:

As we continue expanding to new, exciting locations in the United States, we’re looking for skilled pilots to help us deliver goods from our partners to their customers and all from the comfort of your home.

The quality of our remote pilots is a top priority. We succeed if people get their deliveries on time. Ideal candidates will help us safely integrate our robots into the city streets, combining their enthusiasm with Tiny Mile’s operation standards to ensure each interaction is positive.

The Delivery Robot Pilot will:

a) Transport goods fro ---------- rchants to eaters on time
b) Collaborate with the dispatching team to ensure delivery performance meets company expectations
c) Learn and adapt to new driving environments to assist with our expansion efforts
d) Avoid risk or injury to citizens by maintaining Tiny Mile's product safety standards
e) Provide feedback on improving our process as we scale

Requirements:

a) Able to work Monday to Friday from 9:00 am - 02:00 pm EST (Afternoon) or 2:00 pm - 06:00 pm EST (Evening)
*Tiny Mile offers the opportunity for pilots to increase their hours to full-time (9:00 am - 06:00 pm EST) based on sufficient experience
*There is a 12-hour difference between Charlotte, NC/Miami, FL and the Philippines. This means that you’ll be working from 9:00 pm to 2:00 am or 2:00 am to 6:00 am GMT+8
*Shifts may change depending on consumer demand or new locations
b) Must have access to the following equipment to pilot our robots effectively:
*Fast, reliable internet access, with speed above or equal to 15 Mbps.
*Check https://www.speedtest.net/ using VolP & MSP Asheville Charlotte, North Carolina as the server. Please attach the results to your resume
*An available, officially licensed wired Xbox One or PS4 controller
*Chrome as a browser
c) Safe, reliable service is crucial - pilots must drive attentively and prioritize the welfare of others
d) Excellent written and verbal communication skills, and proficiency in English
e) Enthusiastic learners with an interest in advancing technologies
f) A team player - someone who takes the initiative to help contribute with feedback and help grow with the team
g) The ability to effectively navigate urban areas utilizing GPS and map technologies
h) Previous experience with video games and/or delivery is a plus
