Job Opportunity: Data Researcher – Strategic Growth & Content Support
Location: Remote
Contract Type: Freelance / Fixed-Term (Long-Term Potential)

Drive Strategic Growth Through Insight & Impact
Path2 Solutions is on the lookout for a detail-driven, strategic Data Researcher to power our next phase of growth. You'll combine market intelligence with digital content support to help us reach more learners, secure new partnerships, and strengthen our presence across the UK’s funded employability landscape.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who loves research, has a flair for writing and social media marketing, and is passionate about making data meaningful. You’ll play a hybrid role, part analyst, part content creator, supporting both our strategic plans and our online visibility.

What You’ll Be Doing
• Market & Provider Research
o Map out funding allocations across England’s Combined Authorities (ASF, Bootcamps, Multiply, etc.)
o Identify Colleges and ITPs with relevant contracts or struggling with learner find
o Submit FOI requests to uncover hidden data
o Monitor government portals, sector news, and bid platforms (e.g., BidStats) for tender alerts
o Track contract values, key contacts, course types, and delivery locations
• Strategic Insights & Reporting
Build insight reports showing:
o Where public funding is flowing
o Who is delivering what and where
o Where market gaps exist for Path2 to fill
o Feed intelligence directly into our leadership team’s growth strategy
o Support partnership outreach by equipping our team with relevant data

• Digital Content & Social Media Support
o Draft LinkedIn posts and learner stats to help boost our visibility
o Monitor competitor and sector trends for inspiration and content ideas
o Assist with content scheduling, hashtag use, and performance tracking
o Contribute to blog/article drafts based on research and funding updates

Skills & Experience Required
• Excellent research and analytical skills, can digest large volumes of data and extract key takeaways
• Strong written English for drafting emails, social posts, and internal reports
• Tech-savvy - comfortable with LinkedIn, Canva, ---------- or other CRM’s, and online research tools
• Self-starter who thrives in a remote, results-focused environment
• Willing to learn about the UK education, recruitment, and funding landscape

Desirable Experience but not Essential
• Experience in recruitment, education, employability, or government-funded programmes
• Familiarity with funding streams like ASF, Bootcamps, Multiply, or Adult Learner Loans
• Prior experience submitting FOI requests or using bid portals
• Background in blog writing, content marketing, or social media support
