JOB OVERVIEW

DAP Brands is looking for a high-ownership, systems-minded Data Analyst who doesn’t just report numbers; they build and maintain the foundation that powers decision-making.

This role is critical as we move toward a centralized PostgreSQL database and cleaner, more reliable data across all teams.

What This Role Really Is

You are not just analyzing data.

You are responsible for:
- Structuring it
- Cleaning and validating it
- Standardizing it across systems
- Making it usable and trustworthy

You ensure that when leadership reviews data, it’s accurate, consistent, and ready for decisions.

Key Responsibilities
- Build, manage, and optimize SQL/PostgreSQL databases for centralized data access
- Write efficient, scalable queries for reporting and operational use
- Design and maintain ETL processes to ensure clean and consistent data flow
- Perform data cleaning, validation, and normalization across multiple data sources
- Ensure data integrity, especially across CRM and operational systems
- Identify inconsistencies, duplicates, and structural issues in datasets
- Create and maintain client-level dashboards and reporting systems
- Develop reports that directly support business and operational decisions
- Collaborate with teams to define metrics and improve data tracking
- Proactively improve how data is collected, stored, and used

Non-Negotiables (Must-Have)
- Strong experience with SQL (PostgreSQL preferred)
- Strong proficiency in data cleaning, validation, and normalization
- Advanced skills in Excel / Google Sheets (pivot tables, queries, data modeling)
- Experience with CRM systems (e.g., GoHighLevel, HubSpot) and maintaining data integrity
- Proficiency in programming/scripting (JavaScript, XML, or similar)
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills

Strong Plus (Will Set You Apart)
- Experience building or managing centralized databases or data warehouses
- Hands-on experience with ETL tools or automation workflows
- Experience with dashboarding tools (Power BI, Tableau, Looker, etc.)
- Experience handling client-level or multi-entity datasets
- Background in operations, marketing, or financial data analysis
- Experience in fast-paced, high-growth environments
