Data Analyst

POSITION SUMMARY
As a Data Analyst specializing in financial data, you will play a crucial role in our organization by overseeing the ingestion of financial information and ensuring its accuracy and timely processing. Your responsibilities will include extracting,
transforming, and loading (ETL) financial data from various sources into our systems, conducting thorough data validation and cleansing procedures, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to meet strict deadlines.

This position is 100% remote.

OBJECTIVES
- Extract financial data from diverse sources such as databases, spreadsheets, and APIs
- Conduct thorough data validation to ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial information
- Identify and rectify anomalies, discrepancies, or inconsistencies in the data.
- Collaborate with relevant teams to address and resolve data quality issues promptly
- Develop and maintain efficient workflows to meet tight deadlines for financial data processing.


COMPETENCIES
- Strong fluency with Excel formulas and functions
- Effective communication skills to collaborate with various stakeholders.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Ability to read and write with SQL and Python
- Strong proficiency in ETL processes and data integration techniques
- Basic understanding of financial statements (Income Statement, Balance Sheet)



EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- At least 3 experience in data analysis with a focus on financial data
- Ability to read and write with SQL and Python
- Ability to manage data in Excel workbook

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer
