About the Role
We are a private acquisitions firm that buys and operates established businesses across several industries. We are growing our deal pipeline and need a sharp, organized, detail obsessed Virtual Assistant to help us find acquisition targets and open the first line of conversation with business owners.
This is a research and outreach role, not a closing role. You find the businesses, build clean contact data, and send the opening
If you are organized, curious, fast on a computer, and you take pride in getting the small details exactly right, you will do well here. We will train you on our systems and our process.
What You Will Do
• Research and build lists of businesses in target industries using online directories, search engines, business listing sites, and public records
• Identify the actual owner or key decision maker of each business, not just the front desk
• Find and verify accurate contact information, including direct
• Organize everything into clean, well structured spreadsheets with no duplicates and no errors
• Send opening outreach
• Track outreach status, responses, and follow up timing so nothing slips through the cracks
• Flag promising leads and any responses quickly so our principals can step in
• Keep the pipeline accurate, current, and easy for us to act on
What We Are Looking For
• Strong computer proficiency. You are comfortable with spreadsheets, browsers,
• Sharp attention to detail. You double check names, spelling,
• Strong to Excellent written English. Your outreach
• Strong research instincts. You can dig past the obvious result to find the real owner and the real contact
• Reliability and consistency. You show up, hit your numbers, and communicate clearly
• A genuine willingness to learn. We have systems and we will teach them, but you need to absorb feedback and improve fast
• Discretion. You will handle business and contact information that we expect you to keep confidential
Nice to Have
• Experience with artificial intelligence tools such as Gemini, OpenAI, or Claude
• Prior experience in lead generation, list building, cold outreach, or sales development
• Experience with tools such as Google Sheets, Microsoft Excel,
• Familiarity with business directories and public business records
Hours and Compensation
30 to 40 hours per week. Compensation will be discussed based on experience and proven accuracy. Strong performers will have room to grow with us as our acquisition activity expands.
