Geaux Elite Auto Rentals is a fast-growing car rental agency based in Austin, Texas. We provide reliable and affordable weekly vehicle rentals for gig workers, rideshare drivers, delivery drivers, and everyday customers who need dependable transportation.
Our company is continuing to grow, and we are looking for a dependable Customer Service & Sales Virtual Assistant to help manage leads, communicate with customers, assist with reservations, and support current renters.
This is a customer-facing role within the car rental industry. You will be communicating with people who are interested in renting vehicles, current renters who have questions, and customers who may need assistance during their rental period.
This is not a simple data entry role.
We are looking for someone who is professional, detail-oriented, proactive, comfortable speaking with customers, and able to follow instructions carefully.

You must have strong customer service skills, strong English communication skills, and the ability to stay calm and professional when customers have questions, concerns, or issues.
POSITION OVERVIEW:
The Customer Service & Sales Virtual Assistant will help manage incoming leads, follow up with potential renters, answer customer questions, assist with reservations, and support current renters with general communication.
Your main focus will be helping us provide a great customer experience while also helping keep our vehicles rented.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Lead Response & Sales Support
• Respond to new leads quickly
• Answer questions about vehicle availability, pricing, rental requirements, and rental terms
• Call prospective renters when needed
• Follow up with leads who have not completed the rental process
• Help move qualified leads toward booking
• Assist with scheduling reservations and pickup times
• Update lead status inside the CRM
Customer Communication
• Respond to customer texts, calls, and CR
• Answer incoming calls professionally when assigned
• Make outbound calls when needed
• Provide clear updates about reservations, renewals, returns, payment links, and general questions
• Review previous notes before responding to customers
• Document important conversations and updates
Rental Support
• Assist customers during the rental process
• Help current renters with basic questions
• Gather information when renters report vehicle concerns
• Follow company instructions and SOPs
• Escalate important issues with clear details
• Help make sure customers receive timely and professional communication
CRM & Administrative Support
• Update customer records
• Tag leads and renters correctly
• Move leads through the correct CRM stages
• Add notes after calls or messages
• Help identify missed follow-ups
• Keep renter and lead information organized
TOOLS YOU MAY USE:
• CRM system
• Phone and text system
•
• Google Drive
• Google Sheets
• SOP documents
• ChatGPT or other AI tools
• Time tracking software
Experience with every tool is not required, but you must be comfortable learning new systems.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
• Strong spoken English
• Strong written English
• Customer service experience
• Phone support, sales support, or appointment setting experience preferred
• Ability to make outbound calls
• Strong attention to detail
• Reliable internet connection
• Quiet work environment for calls
• Ability to follow written instructions
• Ability to work during agreed scheduled hours
• Comfortable joining required tea

This role is not a good fit for someone who needs constant supervision or is uncomfortable speaking with customers.
SCHEDULE:
This position will start part-time at 25 hours per week.
Schedule:
• Monday–Friday
• 5 hours per day
• Availability during U.S. Central Time business hours is preferred
• Exact working hours will be discussed during the interview process
This role may grow into additional hours based on performance, reliability, business needs, and overall fit.
COMPENSATION:
Starting pay is $3.00 per hour.
This is a starting rate with room for growth. Compensation will be reviewed based on performance, reliability, communication skills, attention to detail, ability to handle customer calls, and ability to work independently.
