JOB OVERVIEW

Remote | Part-time | 30 hours per week

Outback SafeTrack is looking for a reliable and experienced Customer Service Representative to join our team.

We run an Australian ecommerce business, ---------- , supplying equipment for off-grid, outdoor and backup power needs. We are looking for someone who can confidently handle customer enquiries, follow up on orders, communicate with suppliers and couriers, and support customers across phone, email and live chat.

Hours

Monday to Friday
8:00am to 2:00pm AEST / GMT+10
This is 6:00am to 12:00pm Philippine Time.

Total: 30 hours per week

Pay

?300 PHP per hour
Approximately ?9,000 PHP per week for 30 hours.

Main Responsibilities

You will be responsible for helping customers before, during and after their purchase. Your tasks will include:

Answering customer phone calls
Responding to customer emails from our shared email inbox
Being available on our live chat system
Taking customer orders over the phone
Creating draft orders for customers in Shopify
Following up on problem orders
Documenting order issues clearly and accurately
Contacting suppliers and couriers to get updates on delayed, missing or problem orders
Updating customers with clear and helpful information
Keeping internal notes organised so the team can easily understand the status of each case
Required Experience

The successful applicant must have:

Shopify experience, including creating draft orders
Previous phone-based customer service experience
Strong written English skills
Clear and professional spoken English
Ability to stay organised when managing multiple customer enquiries
Good attention to detail when documenting customer issues and order updates
Confidence communicating with suppliers, couriers and customers
Preferred Experience

Experience or knowledge in any of the following areas will be highly regarded:

Off-grid equipment
Generators
Solar panels
Portable power stations
Lithium batteries
Camping, caravan, 4WD or outdoor equipment
Ecommerce customer support for technical or product-based businesses
The Ideal Candidate

This role would suit someone who is friendly, organised, reliable and comfortable speaking with customers over the phone. You should be able to communicate clearly, follow up on issues without being reminded, and keep accurate records of customer and order updates.

We are looking for someone who can take ownership of customer enquiries and help resolve problems in a calm, professional and helpful way.

Availability during the required shift: 8:00am–2:00pm AEST, Monday to Friday
