We're a fast-moving e-commerce/creative team running paid video ads across multiple markets. We're hiring one detail-obsessed Creative VA to own our video localization pipeline. This is a long-term role with real growth: once you've proven yourself, you'll direct work to other editors and sit in on creative idea sessions with our strategist.
What you'll do (day to day):
Translate/localize our video ads into other markets by following our existing step-by-step SOPs (you don't invent the process — you execute it precisely and fast).
Generate voiceovers for the localized versions (we'll show you our tools).
Keep our file system spotless — correct folders, correct naming, nothing lost. When you apply, you'll need a codeword, and it's Lingonberry — hold onto it, you'll use it below.
Make sure every editor uploads their material to the right place, on time, following our SOPs.
Who this is for:
You're the kind of person who feels physical discomfort when a file is named "final_FINAL_v2." You read instructions to the end. You move fast but never sloppy. Your written English is clean. You want one stable, long-term home — not five clients at once.
Who this is NOT for:
People who skim, guess, or send the same copy-paste application to 40 jobs. This post is built to catch that, so save us both the time.
How to apply — read carefully, this is the test:
Subject line — format it EXACTLY like this:
LINGONBERRY | [years editing video] | [voiceover tool you use] | [hours/day you can overlap 00:00–23:59 CET] | [If you can work on weekends aswell]
Example: LINGONBERRY | 4 | ElevenLabs | 6 | Yes
First line of your message must answer this, in your own words: What's the last thing you localized or edited that you were genuinely proud of, and why? (One or two real sentences. Generic answers get deleted.)
Then answer these three questions — but answer them in REVERSE order (3 first, then 2, then 1):
What tools do you use for editing and for voiceover?
Describe a time a messy file system or a missed upload caused a problem — what did you do?
On a scale of "I follow the SOP exactly" to "I improvise" — where are you, and why?
Record a 60-second Loom (screen + voice). Start it by saying the codeword out loud, then show me ONE folder on your computer or drive and walk me through how you keep files organized. (This proves you can use Loom, speak clear English, and actually think about structure.)
Do not attach a generic CV. If your subject line and message are right, that's what gets you to the next round.
We read every application that follows these steps — and we ignore every one that doesn't. Looking forward to meeting the right person.
