We're hiring a Creative Strategist who turns audience insight into ads that actually convert at Marie Originals — a US-based DTC e-commerce brand. You'll own the creative pipeline: research ? hypothesis ? brief ? produce (with editors/UGC creators) ? measure ? iterate. This is not a designer role; you're the brain behind the creative.
You will own:
- Creative strategy across paid social (Meta, TikTok) and organic creative direction
- Hooks, angles, formats, narrative arcs
- Brief writing for editors, designers, and UGC creators
- Customer + competitor research (review mining, persona segmentation, ad teardowns)
- UGC and direct-response ad scripts (hooks, body, CTA; static + video)
- Landing page and PDP creative strategy
- Listicles and advertorials (long-form ad formats)

- Creative testing system (Meta data: CPR, CTR, CPM, ROAS, hook rate)
- Monthly creative performance report
Must have:
- 3+ years creative strategy / performance creative / DTC advertising experience
- A portfolio of 3+ DTC brands you've done creative strategy for — with measurable outcomes
- Ability to brief creators / editors / designers and ship work without 5 rounds of revision
- Hands-on with Meta Ads Manager (creative-level data) and TikTok Ads
- Native-fluent English written communication
- Working knowledge of customer research methods
- 2-4 hr/day overlap with US Pacific time
Nice to have:
- Health, wellness, beauty, or supplement DTC category experience
- Motion, Atria, Foreplay, or similar creative analytics tools
- VSL (Video Sales Letter) scripting experience
- Conversion copywriting training (RMBC, Copywriting Dojo, AWAI)
