Creative Project Assistant

Higher Education in Art Related Degree Required

I am looking for a Creative Project Assistant to support creative production tasks across different projects.

This role is mainly focused on AI image generation, visual quality control, light image editing, file preparation, and asset organisation. It is a hands-on execution role, not a senior creative strategy role.

I will provide the creative direction, references, and feedback. Your job is to help execute the workflow carefully, systematically, and with strong attention to detail.

Main Responsibilities

You will help with:

* Using AI image generation tools to create image options and variations
* Working with character references and style references
* Comparing AI-generated images against reference images
* Checking consistency in character design, colours, proportions, clothing, details, and overall style
* Running multiple rounds of edits and refinements based on feedback
* Preparing transparent PNG files for upload or use
* Removing backgrounds and cleaning up image edges
* Cropping, resizing, exporting, and renaming image files correctly
* Performing light Adobe/Canva/Figma production tasks
* Organising images, references, prompts, drafts, and final files into clear folders
* Tracking different versions, revisions, and final deliverables
* Preparing files for websites, product pages, social media, or internal review
* Creating simple comparison sheets or visual boards
* Helping prepare clear instructions for outsourced editing or design work
* Coordinating simple fixed-rate outsourced tasks when needed
* Supporting other miscellaneous creative project tasks

Light Adobe / Design Work

You should be comfortable with basic production tasks such as:

* Background removal
* Transparent PNG preparation
* Simple Photoshop touch-ups
* Cropping and resizing
* Basic colour correction
* Simple layout adjustments
* Exporting files in the correct format
* Preparing upload-ready files
* Basic Illustrator or Canva edits when needed

You do not need to be a senior graphic designer. However, you should have good visual judgement and be able to prepare clean, organised, usable files.

Requirements

The ideal candidate should have:

* Strong visual attention to detail
* Good taste and basic understanding of design theory
* Basic image editing skills
* Good file organisation habits
* Good written English
* Ability to follow detailed instructions carefully
* Ability to compare images and spot small differences
* Comfort using AI tools or willingness to learn quickly
* Reliable, organised, and systematic working style
* Patience for repetitive visual QC, editing, and file preparation work

Preferred Background

A background in any of these fields is preferred:

* Art
* Design
* Illustration
* Animation
* Visual communication
* Graphic design
* Fashion
* Media
* Photography
* Architecture

Formal education is helpful, but strong examples of visual work are more important.

You may work with tools such as:

* ChatGPT / GPT image generation
* Claude
* Milanote
* Photoshop
* Illustrator
* Canva
* Figma
* Google Drive
* Google Sheets
* Background removal tools
* Other AI image or editing tools

You do not need to know every tool already, but you should be able to learn new tools quickly.

What This Role Is

This role is for someone who enjoys visual production, organisation, and careful execution.

You will help generate, edit, compare, organise, and prepare creative assets. A big part of the role is making sure images match the provided character and style references, and that final files are clean, properly named, and ready to use.

This is not a senior creative director role.
This is not a pure admin virtual assistant role.
This is not a pure graphic design role.
This is not just prompt writing.
This is not a strategy role.

This is a mixed creative support role focused on AI image generation, visual QC, light Adobe production, file preparation, and organised execution**.
