JOB OVERVIEW

Job Type

Part-time to start, with the opportunity to become full-time.

Salary

$700–$900 per month depending on skill, experience and output quality.

We are happy to pay more for someone who is genuinely good at short-form ad editing, understands creative quality, can work independently and can help us build a long-term content production system.

This role will begin with a 30-day paid trial. If the trial goes well, this can become a long-term monthly role with more responsibility and potential bonuses.

About Us

We are ClickBright, a growing UK marketing agency that works mainly with hospitality businesses, restaurants, venues, tanning salons and local service businesses.

We run paid advertising campaigns for clients and help them turn raw content into high-performing video ads, social content, lead-generation campaigns and customer acquisition systems.

We are looking for someone who can help us create better video ads, organise client content, research creative ideas and support the production side of the agency.

What You Will Be Doing

Your main responsibility will be editing short-form video ads from raw footage.

You will be editing content for:

* Facebook Ads
* Instagram Ads
* Reels
* TikTok-style videos
* Talking-head agency videos
* Restaurant and hospitality ads
* Tanning salon ads
* Local business ads

You will also help with basic creative operations, including:

* Creating simple static ad graphics in Canva
* Resizing videos into 9:16, 4:5 and 1:1 formats
* Adding captions/subtitles
* Adding hooks, headlines and motion graphics
* Organising raw footage in Google Drive
* Preparing edited files for ad campaigns
* Researching competitors and creative examples
* Helping prepare content ideas and shot lists
* Helping request the right footage from clients
* Briefing and organising creative work clearly

The Type of Editing We Need

We are not looking for basic slideshow editing.

We need someone who understands modern short-form ad editing.

The edits should feel:

* clean
* premium
* fast-paced where needed
* easy to understand
* attention-grabbing in the first 3 seconds
* suitable for paid ads
* not over-edited
* not cheap-looking
* not full of random effects

You should understand:

* hooks
* captions
* pacing
* B-roll
* text overlays
* ad-style editing
* clean transitions
* motion graphics
* social media formats
* how to make simple raw footage look professional

Tools You Should Be Comfortable With

You do not need to use every tool listed, but you should be comfortable with at least some of these:

* CapCut
* Adobe Premiere Pro
* After Effects
* Canva
* Google Drive
* Google Docs
* Google Sheets
* ChatGPT or AI tools
* AI image/ad tools where useful

We are happy for you to use AI tools to speed up the process, especially for basic static ads, design ideas, captions and creative research, as long as the final output looks professional.

Bonus Skills

These are not required, but would be very useful:

* Experience editing paid ads
* Experience with Meta/Facebook Ads creatives
* Experience with restaurants, venues, beauty, tanning or local businesses
* Canva design skills
* Copywriting or hook writing
* Competitor research
* Creative strategy
* Social media content planning
* Ability to turn a simple client idea into a clear content brief
* Good written English
* Comfortable communicating with a UK-based agency

What We Do Not Want

Please do not apply if:

* you only do very basic edits
* you cannot follow references
* you need constant hand-holding
* you miss deadlines
* you are not organised
* you cannot work with Google Drive
* your edits look outdated
* you only use templates without thinking
* you cannot take feedback professionally

Trial Task

Shortlisted applicants will be given a paid test task.

The test will involve editing a short video ad from raw footage and creating a simple static ad graphic.

We will judge based on:

* quality of the hook
* pacing
* captions
* text overlays
* overall look
* how suitable it is for paid ads
* file organisation
* communication
* turnaround time

Long-Term Opportunity

If you do well, this can become a long-term role.

As the agency grows, there may also be opportunities for:

* higher monthly pay
* performance bonuses
* client-retention bonuses
* more responsibility
* full-time work
* creative strategist responsibilities
* managing other editors in the future

We are building a proper agency team, not just hiring someone for a few random tasks.
