About the Company
Blue Nile Foods operates established Amazon FBA businesses across the UK and US, specializing in branded grocery, pantry, and specialty food products. We manage a growing catalogue of live listings and are expanding our off-Amazon sales through Shopify and social media. We focus on long-term performance, high-quality visuals, and operational consistency.
Role Overview
This is a Creative & Operations Assistant role starting at 20 hours per week. You will support the lead design and operations team by executing visual assets and maintaining our digital stores. This is a production-heavy role: you will take raw assets and instructions to create high-converting Amazon images, Shopify pages, and social media posts.
Primary Responsibilities
Creative Asset Production: Take raw photography and "roll out" designs across multiple platforms (Amazon Infographics, Shopify Banners, and Social Media).
Video Editing: Edit 15–30 second "short-form" videos for Amazon Video Ads and Instagram/TikTok (Reels).
Listing Execution: Upload and update product listings in Seller Central (Images, Titles, and Bullets).
Visual Strategy: Ensure "Pack Logic" is visually clear (e.g., making sure a 2-pack looks distinctly different from a 4-pack to prevent customer and warehouse confusion).
Asset Hygiene: Maintain a structured creative asset database (Google Drive) organized strictly by SKU.
Social Media: Schedule the visual content calendar using Planoly.
Tools You Will Use
Canva / Adobe Creative Suite (Expert-level execution).
Amazon Seller Central (Hands-on experience required).
Shopify Backend.
Planoly (Social media scheduling).
Google Drive & Slack.
What We Are Looking For
A "Design Eye": You understand how to make a product look premium and clean.
Extreme Attention to Detail: You double-check every SKU and price before uploading.
Trainable & Proactive: You are comfortable taking feedback and growing your skills.
Reliability: You meet deadlines and communicate clearly on Slack.
Compensation & Terms
Rate: $4.00 – $6.00 USD per hour (depending on experience).
Hours: 20 hours per week to start.
Selection Process: Top candidates will be invited to a 2-week paid trial period to evaluate real-world performance and team fit.
