Creative Content Manager

Part-Time (20 Hours/Week to Start | Opportunity to Grow into a Full-Time Role)

About the Role

We are a growing, start-up marketing company looking for a Creative Content Manager to support multiple brands across our portfolio.

We are building systems, testing ideas, refining content strategies, and continuously improving. The ideal candidate is comfortable working in an entrepreneurial environment where content, processes, and priorities may evolve as the brands grow.

The Founder will provide content direction, messaging, captions, recordings, footage, photos, voice notes, and ideas.

Your role is to transform those assets into content that captures attention, builds trust, and drives action.

We are looking for someone with strong creative judgment who understands storytelling, branding, audience psychology, and content creation—not someone who simply edits videos.

What You’ll Do

Reels & Short-Form Content

• Create engaging reels and short-form videos
• Identify the strongest ---------- nts from long-form content
• Use hooks that stop the scroll and improve retention
• Source and incorporate B-roll when appropriate
• Add captions, music, text overlays, and supporting visuals
• Repurpose webinars, podcasts, interviews, speaking engagements, founder content, travel content, and recordings into engaging social media content
• Adapt content for Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, Facebook, and other platforms
• Use CapCut templates when appropriate and create custom edits when needed

Carousels & Visual Content

• Create educational and thought-leadership carousels
• Design Canva graphics, stories, and promotional content
• Turn ideas, recordings, and presentations into visually engaging content
• Create content that simplifies information and encourages engagement

Brand Understanding & Creative Direction

One of the most important responsibilities of this role is understanding the brand behind the content.

You will:

• Learn each brand’s audience, mission, positioning, and goals
• Create content that feels native to the brand’s existing content
• Match the tone, pacing, visuals, captions, fonts, music, and overall style of each brand
• Understand that different audiences require different creative approaches
• Create content that feels consistent rather than looking like a completely different creator suddenly took over

Trend Research & Content Development

• Stay current with TikTok, Instagram, LinkedIn, and social media trends
• Identify emerging content formats, storytelling techniques, hooks, and creative concepts across different industries and niches
• Recognize opportunities to adapt trends to different brands, audiences, and business goals
• Translate trending content into brand-appropriate content rather than simply copying trends
Recommend new content formats, editing styles, and creative approaches
• Proactive bring content ideas and recommendations to the team

The ideal candidate understands that different content has different goals.

You know how to identify what the content is trying to accomplish and adjust your creative approach accordingly.

You understand how audience, platform, brand, and desired action should influence decisions such as:

-Editing style
-Pacing
-Music selection
-Fonts and graphics
-Hooks
-Calls-to-action

You know when to use high-energy edits and when to keep content simple and credible.

You are naturally curious about content and regularly study creators, brands, and trends across different industries. You can recognize ideas that are working in one niche and adapt them for a completely different audience, brand, or business objective.

We value creative judgment, visual taste, brand alignment, and storytelling ability more than flashy editing techniques.

The goal is to create content that captures attention, communicates the message effectively, and motivates the audience to take action.
