Course Content Editor& Proofreader

Hourglass by Design is seeking an experienced Course Content Editor & Proofreader to assist with reviewing, editing and refining training materials prior to launch.

This role will initially focus on one course, with the opportunity for ongoing work across multiple courses as additional training programs are developed.

Responsibilities

Proofread and edit course content for spelling, grammar and readability.
Review course material for consistency, accuracy and professionalism.
Identify missing information, gaps in content or areas requiring further clarification.
Ensure lessons flow logically and are easy for students to understand.
Check formatting and presentation across course materials.
Provide feedback and recommendations to improve the overall learning experience.
Work closely with the business owner to finalise course content ready for launch.
Essential Requirements

Previous experience editing, proofreading or reviewing online courses, training programs, manuals or educational content.
Strong written English skills and attention to detail.
Ability to identify content gaps and suggest improvements.
Reliable high-speed internet connection.
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
Excellent communication skills.
Time Tracking Requirement

Applicants must be willing to use a time-tracking platform such as Time Doctor, Hubstaff, Timely, Clockify or similar software that accurately records hours worked.

Hours

Monday to Friday
8:30am – 5:30pm AWST
1-hour unpaid lunch break
Ongoing work available for the right applicant
