Contract Developer – Automations & No-Code Integrations

Modern Law Practice (MLP) is looking for a contract developer to support our head of automations and development. This is a hands-on role for someone who can jump in quickly, learn fast, and help us build and improve automation-driven systems for our growing platform.

What You’ll Do

* Collaborate directly with our head of automations and development on new builds, integrations, and troubleshooting.
* Develop, maintain, and optimize workflows using Airtable, Make, Zapier, and Noloco.
* Write custom scripts (JavaScript, Python, or similar) to extend automations when needed.
* Assist in building and refining no-code/low-code tools to streamline operations.
* Debug, test, and document solutions to ensure reliability and scalability.

What We’re Looking For

* Strong familiarity with no-code automation platforms (Airtable, Make, Zapier).
* Experience with front-end tools like Noloco and related platforms.
* Ability to write and understand scripts and API calls (JavaScript, Python, Node.js, or comparable).
* Problem-solving mindset with a willingness to research and figure things out quickly.
* Excellent communication and collaboration skills—you’ll be working closely with internal stakeholders.
* Availability to start quickly and commit consistent hours as a contractor.

Nice-to-Have

* General knowledge of databases, APIs, and SaaS integrations.
* Background in consulting, legal tech, or professional services tech stack.
