Contract AI/Figma Front-End Developer (Project-Based & Part-Time)

Role Overview: Hughes Media, a 25-plus-year-old agency, is seeking a specialized Front-End Developer to bridge the gap between design and deployment. You will leverage Figma's advanced AI capabilities and extensibility to accelerate our WordPress implementation pipeline. This is a project-based contract with ongoing, part-time maintenance hours.
Key Responsibilities:
Optimize Workflow: Customize and build within Figma using its latest developer features to streamline the design-to-WordPress pipeline.
AI Integration: Utilize Figma’s AI tools to automate code generation and component mapping.
Front-End Development: Translate optimized Figma designs into clean, responsive WordPress-ready code (HTML/CSS/JavaScript)
Qualifications:
Strong front-end development skills (HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript/TypeScript) [5, 6].
Deep expertise in Figma, specifically creating design systems, utilizing dev mode, and exploring AI-driven plugins [2].
Proven experience developing for WordPress (custom themes, Gutenberg blocks, or page builders).
Experience with AI coding assistants or automated workflow tools is a major plus.
