Construction Project Manager
About the job
• Oversee and manage construction projects for UK clients from a remote location, ensuring effective communication and efficient project delivery
• Collaborate with local teams, subcontractors, and stakeholders to facilitate project execution while maintaining alignment with client expectations
• Prepare and implement project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation plans tailored to each project's unique requirements
• Conduct virtual meetings and site inspections to monitor project progress and address any challenges proactively
• Ensure all projects adhere to UK building regulations, safety standards, and industry best practices
• Prepare and present reports and updates to UK clients, ensuring transparency and fostering strong working relationships
• Manage procurement and sourcing of materials, ensuring delivery timelines align with project schedules
• Conduct risk assessments and establish mitigation strategies to minimize project disruptions
• Support subcontractors in adhering to strict timelines and quality standards throughout the project's lifecycle
• Utilize project management software effectively to track progress, manage documentation, and communicate with tea
Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field
• Conceptual interior and room design with intermediary skills for electrical and plumbing drawings.
• 3-5 years of experience in managing construction projects, preferably with UK clients
• Proven experience in remote project management and effective communication with distributed teams
• Strong comprehension of UK construction regulations and industry standards
• Familiarity with project management tools and software
• Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills to build relationships with clients and subcontractors
• Ability to work independently and make informed decisions with minimal supervision
• Willingness to adapt to changing project needs and environments
