We are looking for a dedicated Community accountant to help out our client in the Real Estate industry with their Financial statements and other accounting needs in the business.
Responsibilities:
• Accounts Payable: Process invoices, set-up reoccurring expenses, verify accuracy, obtain necessary approvals, and prepare payments in accordance with company policies.
• Accounts Receivable: Assist in generating and sending monthly financial reports, monitoring outstanding balances, and following up on overdue payments for clients.
• General Ledger Maintenance: Assist with posting journal entries, reconciling accounts, and maintaining financial records in the accounting system.
• Bank Reconciliations: Assist with reconciling financial accounts and previous ledgers are all up to date.
• Financial Reporting: Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
• Audit Support: Assist with internal and external audits by providing requested financial documents and reports.
• Administrative Support: Provide general administrative support to the accounting team, including filing, organizing financial documents, and responding to accounting-related inquiries.
• Tax Support: Assist with the preparation of tax returns, ensuring all relevant information is accurate and submitted on time.
• Onboarding: Assist with setting up accounts for clients, update financials records, audit financial documents from previous management, and ensure all financial information is setup for the clients.
Qualifications:
• Must have at least 3+ years of experience in accounting and bookkeeping, preferably from a US company.
• Familiarity with accounting principles, financial analysis, financial reporting, and office administration.
• Must be proficient in basic/advanced accounting software, Microsoft Office, and Google Workspace applications.
• Experience with tax filings and reviewing financial documents is preferred.
• Attention to detail: strong ability to maintain accuracy in financial data and documentation.
• Organization: excellent organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills: ability to interact effectively with tea
• Problem-Solving: ability to identify issues and resolve discrepancies in in a timely manner.
• Must be willing to work full-time within US Pacific business hours
