About the role (Chinese-Speaking Ecommerce Operations Assistant (Remote):

We are a fast-growing international ecommerce fulfilment company based in Hong Kong. We're looking for a detail-oriented, reliable operations assistant who is fluent in both English and Mandarin Chinese to help manage our daily order fulfilment operations.

This is a fully remote role. You will act as the bridge between our English-speaking management team and our Chinese-speaking operations staff and suppliers — making communication faster, clearer, and more efficient.

Important: This role requires someone who is highly available throughout the day. Our clients operate across different time zones and messages come in at all hours — we need someone who is responsive, on the ball, and doesn't disappear for long stretches. If you're looking for a strict 9-5 role, this isn't the right fit.
What you'll be doing:

Processing and managing customer orders through our fulfilment systems (full training provided)
Communicating with Chinese suppliers, warehouses, and logistics partners on our behalf
Translating and relaying instructions between our English management team and Chinese operations team
Monitoring order statuses, flagging issues, and following up on delays
Updating order tracking information and maintaining accurate records
Assisting with day-to-day operational tasks as directed

What we're looking for:

Fluent in both English and Mandarin Chinese — reading, writing, and speaking
Highly available and responsive throughout the day — this is non-negotiable
Strong attention to detail — order fulfilment requires accuracy
Comfortable working with online systems and tools (we will train you on everything)
Reliable, proactive, and able to work independently
Previous experience in ecommerce, logistics, or operations is a bonus but not required
Available during Hong Kong / China business hours preferred
