Car Rental Reservation Agent

We are looking for a motivated and customer-focused Car Rental Reservation Agent to join our team. As a Reservation Agent, you will be the first point of contact for our customers, assisting them with their car rental needs and ensuring a smooth reservation process. Your role is crucial in creating positive customer experiences and building long-term relationships.

Must have excellent American accent. You will be required to submit a short video explaining any related experience you have to this job.

Key Responsibilities:

We run social media ads targeting customers who need a long term rental car for gig work such as Uber, Lyft, Door Dash, etc. We also utilize the Turo platform for short-term rentals.
As a Reservation Agent, you will:

Contact leads to verify their information, explain the long-term rental program, answer their questions, and assist them with creating the reservation.
Provide excellent customer experience via phone, email, and online chat.
Provide detailed information on available vehicles, rental rates, terms, and conditions.
Upsell additional services and products, such as insurance coverage, GPS, and child seats.
Process rental agreements and ensure accurate and timely data entry into the reservation system.
Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues or complaints in a professional and efficient manner.
Collaborate with other departments to ensure vehicle availability and meet customer needs.
Maintain a high level of product knowledge to provide accurate information to customers.
Adhere to company policies and procedures to ensure compliance and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications:

Some college preferred; additional education or certifications in customer service is a plus.
Previous experience in a customer service or sales role, preferably in the car rental, hospitality, or travel industry.
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
Proficiency with computer systems and reservation software; experience with Turo is a plus.
Flexible schedule, including availability to work weekends and holidays as needed.
