Canva Worksheet Designer – Reading Program

ABOUT THE ROLE:
Miss Debbie’s Road to Reading is seeking a creative and detail-oriented Canva Designer to create weekly worksheets that our team will lay out to you for our children’s reading program. These worksheets play an important role in helping kids learn to read, so they must be clear, engaging, and easy to follow. You’ll work closely with our team to bring curriculum content to life through clean layouts, kid-friendly visuals, and consistent branding.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
-Design and create weekly reading worksheets that our team will lay out for you using Canva. We will give examples and describe what we want each worksheet to include in detail.
-Follow established templates, fonts, and style guides for consistency
-Incorporate visuals, and layouts that are child-friendly and easy to understand
-Ensure all worksheets are accurate, polished, and ready for weekly release
-Collaborate with the team to make quick edits or improvements when needed
-Maintain organized editable Canva files and version history

REQUIREMENTS:
-Must be based in the Philippines
-Strong Canva design skills (templates, layouts, graphics, and text formatting) Will mostly use Canva elements to create designs with a few customized images.
-Ability to follow instructions and deliver on time every week
-Good English communication skills (written and reading comprehension)
-Detail-oriented with an eye for clarity, balance, and child-appropriate design
-Must be available US Mountain Standard Time at least once per week to collaborate on projects.

NICE TO HAVE:
-Experience creating worksheets, printables, or educational materials
-Background in early education, teaching, or tutoring
-Familiarity with child-friendly fonts and educational design principles
-Background in design platforms such as adobe illustrator or photoshop.

WORK SCHEDULE:
-Flexible hours, but must meet weekly deadlines
-Fully remote, work-from-home position
