CNC Developer

A company in the manufacturing and machining industry is looking for an experienced CNC Programmer to work with SolidCAM. The role includes programming, preparing machining plans, and supporting production processes on CNC machines.

Responsibilities
Program CNC machines using SolidCAM
Prepare machining programs based on technical drawings and 3D models
Select cutting tools, machining strategies, and operation sequences
Generate code for CNC machines
Run simulations and check for collisions before production
Work closely with the production team, CNC operators, and engineers
Make adjustments and improvements to existing programs
Support troubleshooting during the manufacturing process
Maintain high accuracy, quality, and production deadlines

Requirements
Previous experience as a CNC Programmer – mandatory
Proven experience working with SolidCAM – mandatory
Ability to read technical drawings and 3D models
Understanding of machining, milling and/or turning
Experience generating G-code for CNC machines
Familiarity with cutting tools, materials, and manufacturing processes
High attention to detail and ability to work independently
Experience with 3/4/5-axis machines – advantage
Experience with SolidWorks – advantage
Background in medical, defense, aerospace, or metal industries – advantage
