We are a premium NYC portrait studio specializing in maternity, newborn, and beauty work. We're currently rebuilding our portfolio and refining our visual standard to editorial / fine-art level. We are looking for a skilled retoucher who can also help design and document our AI-assisted retouching workflow.

Retouching scope
Advanced skin retouching — dodge & burn, frequency separation, texture preservation
Light shaping, contrast refinement, and sophisticated color grading for large-format print
Detail cleanup: hair, background, wardrobe
Consistent delivery across full image sets
Final file preparation for premium print and client delivery
Workflow design requirement
A key part of this role is helping us build and document a repeatable AI-assisted workflow using our current toolset. You must have hands-on experience with:

The selected candidate will retouch ~5 images and provide a screen recording with narration of their process. This will be used internally to train our team and standardize our style.

Requirements
Proven portfolio in beauty, fashion, or high-end portrait retouching
Natural, high-end skin texture — no over-smoothing
Strong command of light, depth, and color
Experience building or optimizing AI retouching workflows
Reliable communication; ability to follow and match a defined visual style
