Book Formatter / Layout Designer (Remote, Full-Time)

Location: Remote – Preferably based in the Philippines
Start Date: ASAP
Work Hours: Flexible, but must be responsive and meet deadlines

? About the Role:
We’re looking for a Book Formatter / Layout Designer to join our growing publishing team. You will be working on formatting bilingual children’s books, teacher workbooks, and digital materials for both print and Kindle/eBook publication.
???? You Should Know How To:
Use Adobe InDesign to format interior book layouts
Use Kindle Create to prepare eBooks for Amazon Kindle
Use Adobe Photoshop for basic image editing and book cover formatting
Convert and clean PDFs to print-ready or eBook-ready files
Work with templates (no need to design from scratch)
Deliver consistent, high-quality output

???? Requirements:
2+ years experience in book formatting or layout design
Familiar with Amazon KDP standards and specs (bleeds, margins, resolution, etc.)
Strong eye for design, alignment, and clean layout
Ability to meet deadlines and take feedback
Must submit a portfolio of previous formatting or design work

???? Nice-to-Have (Bonus Points):
Experience with bilingual/educational books
Basic understanding of self-publishing workflow
Prior experience in remote team setup
