Audio / Mixing Engineer Needed

About Us:

We are a music agency specializing in live events and studio productions. Our work spans from high-energy live performances to professional in-studio content, requiring top-tier audio production quality.

Required Technical Setup:

A Quality DAW (Pro Tools, Studio One, Logic, Ableton) - we cannot hire someone who uses Reaper
A Powerful Enough computer to handle large audio projects
Vocal Tuning: Melodyne - if you do not have Melodyne Assistant, we can give you access to the one that we have with our company.
Quality Plugins (example: quality compressors like CLA76, Fabfilter EQ, SoundToys, mastering plugins like Ozone)

*Note: Equivalent quality plugins will be considered, but familiarity with these industry standards is preferred.

Key Responsibilities:

- Mix and master live performance recordings
- Ability to download large audio files (we will send you these)
- Melodyne vocals in a way that sounds organic and natural
- Create templates for or bands and artists for speedier workflows
- Ensure consistent sound quality across all productions
- Collaborate with our video team for synchronized content

Required Qualifications:

- MOST IMPORTANT: You must be a musician or have a strong understanding of music theory. The most time consuming part of this position is tuning vocals, and you'll need to know music theory in order to ensure that lead vocals and harmony vocals are accurate.
- Minimum 3 years experience with Pro Tools (or a similar DAW)
- Proven experience in professional audio mixing and mastering
- Deep understanding of plugin chains and signal processing
- Experience with multi-track mixing
- Strong ear for detail and musical balance
- Portfolio demonstrating professional mixing work
